Why yes I keep my promises. I said I’d bring it back (kind of). Say hello again to my long-forgotten series “Bad Banner Ads”, except this time, without the whole “banner” limitation.
I saw this on rotation on Yahoo! Answers (and somewhere else I can’t remember). I noticed it right before changing pages and had to keep refreshing to get it again. There were two ads like this, both with the same mistake. See if you can be teh super-genius and find it.
Ok, ok, so it’s probably just a cute little typo. I just think it’s ironic, especially since it has correct spelling on the top. The “officialiqquiz.com” URL isn’t helping much either. Really?
Also, 96.7% of what? Implied yet ambiguous. Beautiful, that.
Nicely drawn image though.
”What? That’s it?”, you say. Yes. Yes it is. It’s surprisingly hard to run up on a bad ad (barring the ones we’re all used to by now). Maybe I’m just not visiting the right types of websites…
A regular series needs regular content so feel free to send in whatever strikes you as being (un)worthy.
